Southeastern Military Athletic Conference (SEMAC) 

1. Purpose: SEMAC exists to inspire active participation, foster sportsmanship,

enhance physical fitness, and strengthen esprit de corps among service

members.

2. Administration: SEMAC is led and managed by a dedicated team that includes

the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners, Treasurer, Athletic Directors, and

Coaches. Together, they oversee the organization, administration, and

supervision of all conference activities to ensure smooth operations and uphold

SEMAC’s mission.

3. Eligibility Guidelines: SEMAC teams are primarily composed of military-

affiliated individuals, including those on Active Duty, in the National Guard,

Reserves, and one retired veteran. In addition, each team may include up to

three non-military participants from the following categories:

• Dependents of military personnel

• Department of Defense (DoD) employees

• Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) personnel

4. To ensure proper documentation all eligible participants must have a valid ID

card on file with the SEMAC Commissioner’s Office. Teams are responsible for

collecting and maintaining signed Personal Liability Release and Waiver

Forms for any non-military players. Non-military players must remain consistent

on team rosters from week to week. Changes are only allowed in cases of:

Injury, Permanent Change of Station (PCS), or Loss of military affiliation
